The Challenge

The Challenge is open to teams of 2, 4 or 6 which can be single sex or mixed. It will start at 12:00 noon on Saturday 5th September and the challenge is to complete as many laps of 4.17 miles as possible over the next 24 hours with approximately 300ft of ascent per lap. The final course will be confirmed nearer to the event.

The Challenge will be held in the parkland of Wimpole National Trust Estate and will mainly be on grassland with some trail. Laps can be completed as quickly or as slowly as desired we only ask that each member in a team completes at least one lap and that there is only one person on the course at any time. Runners can compete in any order.

Prizes will be awarded for the following categories:

  • furthest male pair
  • furthest female pair
  • furthest mixed pair
  • furthest male quad
  • furthest female quad
  • furthest mixed quad
  • furthest male hex
  • furthest female hex
  • furthest mixed hex
