It is with great regret that we are updating to say that this event has now been postponed for 2020 due to Covid-19. We will publish the dates for 2021 just as soon as we are able to.
We know you loved Wimpole 24 … You told us! And we are delighted to say that Wimpole 24 is returning on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th September 2020. Places are limited to 150 teams, so secure yours now!
Wimpole National Trust Estate is a stunning location for this 24 hour run. We have options for solo entries in our Countdown and teams of 2, 4 or 6 in our Challenge. All entries are via SIEntries; click on the logo to be redirected to their site.
Both events, Challenge and Countdown, will be based on a 4.17 mile looped course in the beautiful grounds of the National Trust Wimpole Estate, just 10 miles outside of the historic city of Cambridge. The course is set in the stunning parkland of the Estate, much of which is grade 1 listed Capability Brown landscape with man-made lakes to give the feel of a river flowing through; along with the 18th Century Folly to the north and 17th century hall in the centre of it all. The exact course will be confirmed at a later date but it will take in views of many key features of the Estate. It’s a beautiful place to run!
